Matcha ice cubes are fun to add to your lattes. This source of antioxidants and vitamins can be stored in your freezer just like normal ice cubs, but with an interesting twist of matcha.

Ingredients

  • 1½ tablespoon of Premium Grade matcha
  • 1½ cup of water
  • 5 tablespoons of any plant milk

Of course, you’ll also need an ice cube tray.

  1. Sift the matcha powder when pouring it into a bowl.
  2. Add some water and whisk firmly in a W-motion for 20 seconds until frothy and smooth.
  3. Add the rest of the water in the bowl.
  4. Pour the mix into the ice cube tray, leaving some space for adding the milk later on.
  5. Now add milk slowly into each ice cube. We recommend using soy milk for great consistency.
  6. You should leave the ice cubes for at least 4 to 5 hours in the fridge.
